Job Services Australia (JSA) is an Australian Government funded employment service to assist jobseekers into employment and connect employers with quality staff.

Direction Employment and Training (DET) works closely with Job Services Australia, providing assistance to their agents to help find the right job for their job seekers. DET has a pool of Host Employers in a wide range of industries that we can engage job seekers with. We can advise job seekers on the best career options and employment programs, as well as helping them to undertake any skills development or professional training they may need to help them get a job and advance their career.

If you are a job seeker, Direction Employment and Training (DET) is able to advise you on the best job search methods, career options and employment programs, as well as helping you prepare your résumé, enhance your interview technique or undertake skills development or professional training you may need to help you get and keep the job you want.

We can also link job seekers to Apprenticeships or Traineeships through our Group Training and Apprentice Centre services, casual employment through our personnel hire service, and training and skills development options through our .

In working with jobseekers, we assist you in identifying employment options and opportunities open to you. We assist you to clarify your goals and understand what barriers you might encounter in achieving them. We then work with you, one on one, to help you develop and enhance your skills for the job that’s right for you and your career objectives. We also discuss future career path planning ideas with you.
